Arthur Cachia and John Farrugia registered victories in the CE Installations Premier League as another series of matches took place across the local snooker divisions.

Cachia produced a solid performance to defeat Emanuel Mallia 4-1, while Farrugia was involved in a much closer encounter against Simon Zammit, eventually emerging victorious by four frames to three.

Farrugia also registered a break of 55 during his match, while Zammit compiled a break of 50 as both players demonstrated their scoring ability in a closely contested encounter.

Meanwhile, Brian Caruana secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Shaun Deguara in the Goliath Coatings First Division.

The encounter proved to be another closely fought contest, with Caruana eventually edging his opponent to claim the victory.

In the Second Division, Joseph O’Brien defeated Carmelo Bonnici 3-1, while Frans Abdilla was pushed all the way by Noshair Akther before securing a 3-2 win.

Tony Cassar enjoyed a more comfortable outing, registering a 3-0 victory over Brian Cardona without conceding a frame.

In the Third Division, Wilfred Brincat also recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Victor Camilleri.
