Fenerbahçe Complete €39 Million Signing of Mason Greenwood from Marseille
Fenerbahçe have completed the signing of English forward Mason Greenwood from Marseille in a deal worth €39 million ($44.5 million), the Turkish club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old has agreed to join the Istanbul giants after Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with both Marseille and the player. The transfer fee will be paid in three equal instalments over the next three years, while the Turkish club will also be responsible for any FIFA-mandated solidarity payments.
Greenwood arrived at Marseille from Manchester United in July 2024, signing a five-year contract after bringing his long spell with the Premier League club to an end.
Fenerbahçe will be hoping Greenwood strengthens their attacking options as they bid to win their first Turkish Süper Lig title since 2014. During his two seasons in France, the versatile attacker scored 37 league goals in 66 appearances for Marseille.
