The 24-year-old Greece international is coming off an exceptional campaign, having played a pivotal role in Club Brugge’s Belgian Pro League title triumph. Tzolis finished the season with 17 goals and 23 assists in 37 league appearances, underlining his importance to the Belgian champions.

According to reports, including information from The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Arsenal and Club Brugge have agreed on the transfer fee, with the move now expected to be finalised. The €40 million package would represent a record sale for Club Brugge, eclipsing the previous club-record transfer of Charles De Ketelaere, who joined AC Milan for €37.5 million in 2022.

Tzolis Set for Long-Term Arsenal Contract After Remarkable Rise

Christos Tzolis is expected to sign a contract of at least five years with Arsenal as he prepares to complete his move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Greece international began his professional career with PAOK before earning a transfer to Norwich City in 2021. After spending the 2023–24 season on loan at Dutch side FC Twente, Tzolis secured a permanent move to Fortuna Düsseldorf for €3.5 million in 2024.

Fortuna Düsseldorf quickly agreed to sell the winger to Club Brugge less than a week later, with the Belgian champions paying €6.5 million for his services. Since arriving in Belgium, Tzolis has developed into one of the league’s standout attackers, registering 43 goals and 47 assists in 108 appearances for the 20-time Belgian champions.
