Ghaxaq start the second round with another victory
Yesterday marked the start of the second round of the First Division Bocci Championship, with the standout team continuing to be Għaxaq, who extended their brilliant run to 12 consecutive victories and remain top of the table. The Għaxaq side defeated Lija 21–10.
Msida have joined St. Peter’s Żabbar in second place on nine points after beating them 21–13, while Santa Venera secured a 21–18 win against Bugibba. Żejtun defeated Qormi San Bastjan 21–6 and continue to strengthen their position in third place.
San Ġwann recorded a dominant 21–3 win over Żebbuġ, while Birkirkara won 21–18 away against Żurrieq.
