Besiktas complete signing of Arsenal Winger Leandro Trossard

Besiktas have officially announced the signing of Belgium international winger Leandro Trossard from Premier League champions Arsenal.

The 31-year-old forward leaves North London after an impressive spell with Mikel Arteta’s side, having joined the club from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023.

During his time at Arsenal, Trossard established himself as an important member of the squad, making 174 appearances across all competitions and contributing 36 goals.

The Belgian’s versatility, technical ability, and experience made him a valuable option for Arteta, with the forward regularly delivering important moments in crucial matches.

One of his standout contributions came during the 2025/26 Premier League season, when Trossard scored the winning goal in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over West Ham United.

Trossard begins new chapter in Turkey

Trossard has now completed his move to Turkish giants Besiktas in a deal reportedly worth €18 million, with a further €2 million available through performance-related bonuses.

The Belgian winger has signed a three-year contract with the Istanbul-based club, with the agreement also including an option to extend his stay for an additional 12 months.

The transfer brings an end to Trossard’s successful chapter at Arsenal, where he played a key role in the club’s recent progress and provided valuable attacking depth across multiple positions.
