Real Madrid secure breakthrough in pursuit of Diomande – Report

RB Leipzig rising star Yan Diomande has reportedly reached a verbal agreement over personal terms with Real Madrid, putting the Spanish giants in a strong position to secure one of Europe’s most sought-after young talents.
The 19-year-old winger had previously prioritised a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), but the French champions have so far been unable to strike an agreement with RB Leipzig over a transfer fee.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Diomande has now given the green light to a potential switch to Real Madrid, with the player and the La Liga club reaching a verbal agreement on personal terms.
Despite the breakthrough, the transfer race is far from over. PSG remain determined to land the highly-rated Ivory Coast international and are expected to continue negotiations until the end of the transfer window.
However, RB Leipzig are standing firm in their valuation of the teenager, reportedly demanding around €120 million before they will consider sanctioning a deal.
With both Real Madrid and PSG battling for Diomande’s signature, the race for one of Europe’s brightest young prospects is set to intensify in the coming weeks.
