Guglielmo Vicario joins Juventus on season-long loan from Tottenham
Juventus have signed goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan, with both clubs confirming the move on Tuesday.
The deal also includes an option for Juventus to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season, according to Tottenham.
Vicario, 29, joined Tottenham from Empoli in 2023 and went on to make 117 appearances for the north London club, keeping 29 clean sheets.
The Italian goalkeeper was part of the Tottenham squad that won the Europa League in 2025, ending the club’s 17-year wait for a major trophy.
Vicario began his professional career with Udinese before enjoying spells with Venezia, Perugia, Cagliari and Empoli. He eventually moved to England in 2023 to join Tottenham.
The goalkeeper earned his first senior Italy call-up in March 2024 and has since made five appearances for his country.
His move to Juventus will give Vicario the opportunity to continue his career in Serie A, where he previously established himself as one of Italy’s leading goalkeepers.
