Watch: Maseko Nets Twice in Denmark, Including Stunning Long-Range Goal

Thapelo Maseko has made an immediate impact at FC Copenhagen, scoring twice in their emphatic 5-0 victory over Odense on Sunday, with his stunning long-range effort emerging as an early contender for goal of the weekend in Denmark.
The Bafana Bafana winger was handed his first start for his new club following his move from Mamelodi Sundowns, and he wasted little time showing why he could become one of the league’s standout performers.
Maseko opened his account after cutting inside from the right flank before unleashing a superb 25-yard curling strike into the far corner. The finish showcased his composure, technique and ability to produce moments of real quality from distance.
His second goal was a more straightforward finish, with the ball falling kindly to him inside the box before he calmly fired home from around 10 yards. The result helped Copenhagen open up a four-point advantage at the top of the table.
Maseko has now scored two goals and provided one assist in four appearances for Copenhagen this season. The winger will be hoping to carry that impressive form into the Bafana Bafana squad for their upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea later this month.
Meanwhile, Devin Titus also marked his debut for Moroccan side MAS Fes in spectacular fashion, scoring a stunning goal as they cruised to a 4-1 victory over Burkina Faso’s Rahimo in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary-round tie.
Titus recently joined MAS Fes from Stellenbosch FC and wasted no time making an impression on his new supporters, announcing himself with a memorable debut goal and helping his side take a commanding advantage into the second leg.
