Sliema ASC has announced the blockbuster signing of Italian water polo superstar Francesco Di Fulvio ahead of the 2026 Summer League.
Widely regarded as one of the most decorated and accomplished players in the history of world water polo, Di Fulvio arrives in Malta with an elite resume at both club and international levels. For over a decade, the Italian star has consistently performed at the pinnacle of the sport. His career highlights include World Championship titles, Olympic medals, LEN Champions League trophies, and multiple individual Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors across Europe.
Di Fulvio will join Spanish international Alberto Barroso to complete Sliema ASC’s powerhouse duo of foreign players for the upcoming 2026 domestic summer campaign.
