The Aquatic Sports Association of Malta has revealed the official tournament group draw and player selection for the U18 Women’s National Water Polo Team ahead of their highly anticipated campaign on the world stage this summer.

The World Aquatics Women’s U18 Water Polo Championships are scheduled to take place in Tenerife, Spain, running from 16 to 23 August 2026.

Tough International Test in Group D

The Maltese youth squad has been placed into a highly competitive Group D. They are set to face off against two major global water polo nations during the initial phase of the tournament:

• Canada
• Germany
