Roma Club Malta appoints new Executive Committee at Annual General Meeting

Roma Club Malta has appointed its new Executive Committee during the club’s Annual General Meeting, with President Ray Sant unanimously re-elected to lead the club for another term.
Addressing those in attendance, Ray Sant thanked all members for their continued commitment, support and passion for the club. He expressed his gratitude for the confidence shown in him through his re-election, describing it as a great honour to continue leading a club with such a unique history. Roma Club Malta is the first official AS Roma supporters’ club to be established outside the city of Rome, having been founded on 1 February 1973. This year, the club continues to build on its proud heritage and longstanding traditions.
The President also announced that, from the upcoming season, members and supporters will be able to watch all AS Roma matches at False Nine Bar & Dine, located in Sir Adrian Dingli Street, Pembroke PBK 1940. He described the venue as a modern and welcoming location offering an excellent atmosphere and high-quality dining experience, which will serve as the club’s new home for matchday gatherings.
General Secretary Robert Busuttil expressed his optimism for the future of the club, stating that, with the continued support of its members, Roma Club Malta will continue to grow and strengthen for the benefit of the Romanista community in Malta.
During the meeting, the club also announced the winner of the annual Roma Club Malta Player of the Year award, which is presented each season to the outstanding AS Roma player as voted by the club’s members. This year’s award was presented to goalkeeper Mile Svilar in recognition of his outstanding performances throughout the season.
The newly elected Executive Committee is composed of:
- President: Ray Sant
- Vice-President: Claudio Attard
- General Secretary: Robert Busuttil
- Assistant Secretary: Mark Galea
- Public Relations Officer (PRO): Simon Zahra
- Treasurer: Ivan Vella
- Assistant Treasurer: Lawrence Bugelli
- Social and Sporting Activities Officers: Mario Dimech, Mario Borg and Adrian Gomez Blanco
- Auditor: Ray Calleja
