Venezia and Sevilla Reach Preliminary Agreement for Akor Adams Transfer, Sevilla and Venezia have reached a preliminary agreement over the transfer of Akor Adams, with the Italian club set to pay a guaranteed fee of just over €16 million for the Nigerian striker.

An agreement between the two clubs had been expected after Adams agreed personal terms with Venezia and made it clear he wanted to complete the move. Sevilla were also keen to finalize the sale as they look to raise funds for new signings while easing the club’s financial situation.

The guaranteed fee of more than €16 million represents a significant return for Sevilla, who signed Adams from Montpellier for €5 million in January 2025. After accounting for the player’s salary, the deal is expected to generate a profit of nearly €10 million for the Spanish side.

The agreement also includes performance-related add-ons that could increase the total value of the transfer to as much as €23 million.

After putting his injury problems behind him last season, Akor Adams enjoyed his most productive campaign for Sevilla, although he still fell short of the expectations that accompanied his arrival. The Nigerian striker scored 10 goals and provided three assists, playing a key role in helping the club secure their LaLiga status.

Adams is now set to continue his career in Serie A, with Venezia closing in on his signing.
