Coventry City Complete Five-Year Deal for Burnley Winger Loum Tchaou. Coventry City have confirmed the signing of winger Loum Tchaouna from Burnley on a five-year contract as they prepare for their return to the Premier League

The 22-year-old arrives after spending one season at Burnley, having joined the club from Lazio last year. During his time with the Clarets, Tchaouna made 32 appearances across all competitions and found the net three times.

Tchaouna began his football journey in the youth system at French club Rennes, where he progressed through the academy before making his senior debut for the Ligue 1 side. He later gained further first-team experience during a loan spell with Dijon.

The versatile winger now moves to Coventry City as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign. The five-year agreement reflects Coventry’s long-term plans for the French attacker.

After making the move to Italy, Loum Tchaouna enjoyed a productive spell with Salernitana, where he registered six goals and three assists in 35 appearances. He later joined Lazio, gaining valuable European experience by featuring in 11 Europa League matches.

Coventry City will begin their Premier League return with a difficult opening fixture, travelling to face reigning champions Arsenal on August 21.
