Sirens C&J Bonavia overpower San Ġiljan MyAffiliates in BOV Women’s Summer League

Sirens C&J Bonavia produced a dominant display to defeat San Ġiljan MyAffiliates 25-10 in their BOV Women’s Summer League encounter.
The visitors controlled the match from the opening whistle, building an early advantage before pulling further clear in the middle quarters to record a convincing victory.
Sirens raced into a commanding 8-2 lead by the end of the opening quarter and continued to dictate proceedings in the second period, outscoring San Ġiljan 7-2 to establish a comfortable 15-4 half-time advantage.
Although San Ġiljan showed greater attacking intent after the interval, Sirens maintained complete control, taking the third quarter 8-5 before closing out the contest with a 2-1 advantage in the final period.
Kaia Agius was the standout performer for Sirens, finishing as the match’s top scorer with eight goals. Morgan McDowall added four goals, while Sophie Abela and Abby Bonello each found the net three times. Chloe Amato and Kendra Navarro both scored twice, with Elaya Montfort, Elisa Amato, M. Perici Ferrante, Jorjii Stellini, Denise Micallef and Elise Gatt all contributing a goal each.
For San Ġiljan, Panna Kudella and Marie Rose Tully scored two goals apiece, while Elena Borg, Martina Grech and Miia Clarke Spiteri each added one goal.
