Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed a 35-man squad for their upcoming Australia pre-season tour, with the club set to face Sydney FC and Chelsea as part of the Sydney Super Cup later this month.

Spurs will take on Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium before meeting Chelsea at Accor Stadium in two high-profile friendlies as preparations continue ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Several of Tottenham’s biggest stars will not make the trip after featuring in the recent 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Cristian Romero and Pedro Porro among those remaining in the UK as they continue their post-tournament break.

The North London club will also be without a number of injured players. Xavi Simons remains sidelined with a long-term injury that is expected to keep him out until 2027, while Wilson Odobert is targeting a return in November. Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski continues his rehabilitation after suffering a serious knee injury, with the Swedish international progressing through a carefully managed recovery programme.

With several senior players unavailable, 20-year-old Archie Gray has been handed the captain’s armband for Tottenham’s clash with Auckland FC, leading a youthful squad featuring a mix of academy prospects and fringe first-team players.

Despite the absentees, supporters in Australia can still expect to see several established stars in action. Richarlison, Dominic Solanke, James Maddison, Andy Robertson, Conor Gallagher, Sandro Tonali, and Micky van de Ven are all included in the travelling party and are expected to feature during the tour.
