Former Brondby striker joins Danish leaders as Franculino replacement

FC Midtjylland have signed former Brondby striker Mileta Rajovic, bringing the 27-year-old back to Denmark from Legia Warszawa on a one-year loan deal.
Rajovic began his professional career with Brondby before gaining experience in Sweden and England. He then moved to Poland, joining Legia Warszawa in the summer of 2025.
The Danish Superliga is familiar territory for the striker, who featured 28 times for Brondby during the 2024/25 season and scored eight goals.
Rajovic will now return to Denmark to strengthen FC Midtjylland’s attacking options as the league leaders look to build on their strong start to the campaign.
“We have been looking for a player who fits the way we want to play. We had the opportunity to bring in a Danish number nine on loan — a physically strong striker who offers a commanding presence inside the box,” Sporting Director Kristian Bach Bak told the FC Midtjylland website.
“He has experience from several leagues, including the English Championship and, most recently, a top Polish club where there is huge pressure to score goals and produce results.”
Bach Bak believes Rajovic will add a different dimension to Midtjylland’s attacking options and provide valuable competition within the squad.
“We feel he fits well into the competitive environment we have created. At the same time, Rajovic brings qualities that differ from the strikers we already have. He is a different type of player and adds Scandinavian DNA and experience to the squad.
“From a squad-balance perspective, we see this as a very positive addition,” Bach Bak added.
