Barcelona had already announced that the 22-year-old forward would leave the club after her contract expired in June.

Paralluelo joined Barcelona from Villarreal in 2022 and enjoyed a highly successful spell in Catalonia, winning four Spanish league titles, three Copa de la Reina trophies, and three UEFA Women’s Champions League crowns.

During her time with Barcelona, the Spanish international made 131 appearances across all competitions, scoring an impressive 72 goals before beginning a new chapter with Lyon.

Paralluelo played a starring role in Barcelona’s historic Champions League triumph over Lyon, scoring twice as the Catalan side defeated the French club 4-0 in the final in Oslo in May.

The 22-year-old has also become a key figure for Spain, earning 41 senior caps and helping La Roja win the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Before her senior success, she lifted the U-17 World Cup in 2018 and the U-20 World Cup in 2022.

Her departure marks another major change at Barcelona this summer, with Paralluelo becoming the latest high-profile player to leave the European champions.
