Trabzonspor aiming to challenge the established order
While Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have dominated Turkish football in recent years, Trabzonspor have quietly established themselves as consistent challengers, finishing third in each of the last two seasons.
The club now appears determined to close the gap.

He contested 932 one-on-one duels across the last three seasons, with only six Liverpool players involved in more – including several defensive midfielders. Even centre-back Ibrahima Konate entered fewer duels than the Egyptian.
