The Gozo Football Association (GFA) has officially released its first fixture list for the upcoming 2026-2027 football season, outlining an action-packed September schedule at the Gozo Stadium.

The competitive calendar kicks off with the highly anticipated GFA Super Cup before rolling directly into the Gozo Football League First Division and the Second Division Knock-Out tournament.

GFA Super Cup Final to Spark the Season

The season officially gets underway on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with the GFA Super Cup Final. First Division heavyweights Kercem Ajax and Xewkija Tigers will go head-to-head at 17:30 to battle for the first silverware of the year.

The top-tier league matches are scheduled across three intense weekends in September, all taking place at the Gozo Stadium:

Kit Regulations Issued

In an official note accompanying the schedule, GFA General Secretary Tony Grech reminded all clubs of kit clash protocols. The designated HOME team is strictly required to alter the colors of their jerseys, shorts, or socks (including the goalkeeper’s kit) if they conflict with the choices worn by their opponents.
