Malta’s Under-16 men’s water polo national team has learned its fixture schedule for the 2026 World Aquatics Men’s U16 Water Polo Championships, which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, between 3 and 9 August.

The Maltese youngsters face a challenging group-stage campaign, beginning with an opening-day clash against China on Monday, 3 August, at 8.35pm.

They return to action the following day when they take on Mexico at 4.05pm before facing hosts Croatia on Wednesday, 5 August, at 7.00pm in what is expected to be one of their toughest assignments of the tournament.

Malta will complete the group stage on Thursday, 6 August, with a match against South Africa, scheduled to start at 2.35pm.

The World Aquatics Men’s U16 Water Polo Championships will bring together some of the world’s most promising young players, with Malta aiming to gain valuable international experience while competing against strong opposition on the global stage.
